SPECIALTY AGILITY CLASSES


Morris K9 Campus is proud to offer the following selection of Agility Classes for our students.

Please note that all of our classes require that dogs are both dog and people friendly. In order to keep our students healthy and safe we kindly ask that all dogs are in good health with no signs of illness, lameness, or injuries.

Front and Rear Crosses - Level 3 - Click Here To Enroll
This class reviews the basic physical and verbal cues used to preform front and rear crosses. All obstacles will be utilized in sequencing to improve timing and performance.

Running Contacts - Level 1 - Click Here To Enroll
Learn how to train running contacts. This class with evaluate the dogs natural running stride, and use forward focal points to teach the correct striding needed for fast accurate running contacts.

Skills and Drills - Level 4 - Click Here To Enroll
Skills and Drills will take various agility skills and work them in multiple situations. Some skills will be obstacle discrimination, distance work, jump configurations, serpentines, pinwheels, and straight line sends.

Independent Weave Polls - Level 5 - Click Here To Enroll
Independent Weave Polls is designed to clarify weave poll training, perfect a training method and teach the dog visual recognition of weave polls. Weave Polls will be worked with other obstacles but will be the main focus of this class.

Improving Contact Behaviors - Level 4 - Click Here To Enroll
Improving Contact Behaviors with be focused on teaching and maintaining consistent contact performance. This class will discuss stopped contacts, moving contacts, running contacts and help you determine which is right for you and your dog.

Independent Obstacles & Working Distance - Level 3 - Click Here To Enroll
Independent Obstacles & Working Distance will focus on teaching an obstacle to be performed completely independent of the handler. This training will then be utilized to increase working distance between dog and handler.

Course Strategy - Level 5 - Click Here To Enroll
Course Strategy will teach how to analyze an agility course and look at all the potential choices for the Handlers path. Students will learn different handling techniques will be taught to help make quick and efficient handling decisions.

Increasing Speed - Level 3 - Click Here To Enroll
Increasing Speed will focus on getting dogs to run in full extension. Some games will be taught to increase drive, focus and attention.

Jumpers - Level 4 - Click Here To Enroll
Jumpers will work jumping rhythm, extension, collection, rotation, 270's, 180's, serpentines, and threadles.
